FPIES BEEN THERE DONE THAT ADVICE
When your baby is having a reaction that is not quite bad enough to warrant an Emergency Room visit, but bad enough to warrant some extra love, what do you do? Here's some BTDT advice from our BTDT moms!
BABYWEARING! - Having my baby close soothes her and helps her to be upright when she really feels crappy.
MEDICINE!!!- Whether you prefer, Advil. Tylenol, Motrin, or another medication to help your babies pain. Don't be afraid to give them some relief!
BATH, SHOWER, POOL!- How relaxing as an adult is it to take a bath? It is just as relaxing if not more for a sick kiddo!
HYDRATE!- This is a never-ending battle for FPIES parents, but the sooner you find a "safe" liquid to use for hydration, the better. Babes feel like poop when they're sick, dehydration can make them feel even worse.
We appreciate your support!
